2023 – Music video for recording artist, Duckboy, filmed in New Orleans. Head Wrangler coordinating riding scenes and supplying horse and stunt rider.<\/p>\n

2023 – Music video for recording artist Lil Baby. \u00a0Head Wrangler coordinating riding scenes and supplying horse. Taught riding instruction for Lil Baby.<\/p>\n

2023 – The Last Truth motion picture. \u00a0Head Wrangler coordinating riding scenes. Provided filming location on our ranch along with horses and stunt riders for night scenes of jumping and double riding.<\/p>\n

2023 – Blue Ridge television\u00a0series.\u00a0 \u00a0Head Wrangler coordinating riding scenes and supplying stunt riders and horses. Taught riding instruction for actors.<\/p>\n

2023 – Cherry River Cowboy.\u00a0 Provided filming location on our ranch.\u00a0 Performed\u00a0stunt riding on horse rearing up.<\/p>\n

2022 – Wolfpack television series. Supplied horses and on-camera wranglers.<\/p>\n

2022 – Shadrach – six episode television series for Sony Productions. Head Wrangler coordinating riding scenes and supplying stunt riders and horses. Taught riding instruction for actors.<\/p>\n

2021 – Music video for R&B recording artist Chiae for his song “Cash Out”. Head Wrangler coordinating riding scenes and supplying stunt rider and horse. Riding instruction for Chiae.<\/p>\n

2021 – The Battle of Bushy Run motion picture. Head Wrangler coordinating riding scenes, doubling for the lead the actor in stunt riding scenes, supplying stunt riders, horses and wagon teams. Riding instruction for actors.<\/p>\n

2020 \u2013 The Warrant motion picture. Head Wrangler coordinating riding scenes, doubling for the lead the actor in stunt riding scenes, supplying background riders and horses. Riding instruction for actors.<\/p>\n

2019 \u2013 Christmas on the Range motion picture. Head Wrangler coordinating riding scenes, supplying stunt riders, background riders, horses and cattle. Riding instruction for actors.<\/p>\n

2019 – Amazon Productions television series “Underground Railroad”. Provided wagon horses, wagon drivers, riding horses and stunt riders.<\/p>\n

2018 – Sony Pictures Goosebumps motion picture. Head Wrangler and Stunt Rider<\/p>\n

2017 – CBS-TV “Dynasty” CBS-TV Head Wrangler coordinating riding scenes and supplying stunt riders and horses. Riding instruction for actors.<\/p>\n

2017 – The Front Runner motion picture.\u00a0 Provided horses and stunt riders as mounted police officers.<\/p>\n

2017 – Amazon Production of Television series “Lore”.\u00a0 Provided wagon.<\/p>\n

2017 – Newton College Film Festival, Covington, GA.\u00a0 Invited to address the audience regarding the training and use of horses in film work and was also invited to serve on the panel of judges for the film festival.<\/p>\n

2014 – 2017 – “Sleepy Hollow”\u00a0– Ed was selected by 20th Century Fox Television to supply all the horses and most of the riders along with helping to coordinate the riding scenes for the second, third and fourth seasons filming of Fox TV\u2019s popular television drama series, “Sleepy Hollow”. Ed was also been cast in on-camera riding roles as the character \u201cWar\u201d and as riding double for the character \u201cAbraham\u201d and as wagon driving double for the character \u201cCrane\u201d. Ed\u2019s daughter, Elizabeth was cast as the riding double for the characters Katrina and Betsy Ross. Ed\u2019s son-in-law Luke Smith was cast as the riding double for the characters Moloch and Kindred. For many scenes Ed has supplied numerous background riders, horses, carriages and wagons with horse teams and drivers. http:\/\/www.fox.com\/sleepy-hollow\/<\/a><\/p>\n

2016 – Television commercial for Harvey’s Supermarket Chain.\u00a0 Head Wrangler coordinating riding scenes and providing horses.<\/p>\n

2016 \u2013 \u201cMaking History\u201d\u00a0– Ed was selected by 20th Century Fox Television to supply all the horses and carriages along with helping to coordinate the riding scenes for the pilot of Fox\u2019s new \u201ctime travel\u201d comedy series. http:\/\/www.fox.com\/making-history<\/a><\/p>\n

2014 Globe Trotting\u00a0– Ed and Elizabeth have been invited to be co-hosts of a new television series featuring world wide horseback travel opportunities. This show will give viewers a unique alternative to exploring a new place or experiencing an old haunt in a fresh way on horseback. Viewers will experience Wild West history while traversing Wyoming\u2019s High Country. Take a step back in time while riding through Italy\u2019s ancient castles and fortresses. Go wild alongside herds of zebra, wildebeest and gazelle across Kenya\u2019s Masai Mara. It\u2019s more than just a horseback ride; it\u2019s discovering the small, but significant wonders along the journey that might go unnoticed if traveling any other way. This project is currently under development.

2009\u00a0 “Girls and Horses” music video by Templeton Thompson.\u00a0 Provided horses and riders.<\/p>\n

2009 – “Untamed Legacy”\u00a0This Emmy Award winning PBS documentary focuses on the wild mustang\u2019s survival and struggles as resources diminish. Untamed Legacy: America\u2019s Wild Mustang chronicles a mustang named Charlie on his journey from the wild to his new home in Alabama, and all the people whose lives he touches along the way. The film crew follows Ed as he trains Charlie from being completely wild to becoming a well-trained riding horse. “Untamed Legacy” has been nominated for three Emmy Awards – Best Documentary, Best Photography and Best Writer.

2008 – \u201cWe Shall Remain\u201d, a PBS television production, is a docu-drama set in the early 1830\u2019s relating the plight of the Cherokee people as they were moved off their lands in north Georgia and Tennessee resulting in a forced march known as the \u201cTrail of Tears\u201d. Ed was the Head Wrangler for the movie and was responsible for the supervision of all horses and riders during the horseback riding scenes. Ed also provided riding instruction for the actors. Along with these duties Ed was cast in the role of \u201ccarriage driver\u201d.

1999. “The Patriot”,\u00a0a Columbia Pictures Production starring Mel Gibson, on location in Rock Hill, SC, with Ed cast as a Captain of the Continental Cavalry and as a British cavalry soldier.<\/p>\n

1998.\u00a0Ed worked as a mounted cowboy model for a professional photo shoot for a “coffee table” book on western cowboys.<\/p>\n

1997. “The Postman”- a Warner Brothers Production directed by and starring Kevin Costner, on location in Sahuarita, Arizona. Ed was cast as a mounted solider.<\/p>\n

1995. “Crazy Horse”- a TNT Production on location in South Dakota. Ed was cast in four separate roles- as a civilian scout named Wheatley, as Lt. Varnum, Custer\u2019s chief of Indian scouts, as a cowboy and as a cavalry sergeant.<\/p>\n

1994.\u00a0\u00a0Ed participated in the filming of a country music video for the singing group “Confederate Railroad” for their song “Summer in Dixie”, cast as a mounted Civil War cavalry commander.<\/p>\n

1993. “North & South Book III”- an ABC TV mini-series on location in San Antonio, Texas. Ed was cast as a cavalry sergeant with a small speaking part.<\/p>\n

1993. “Geronimo”- a Columbia Pictures Production on location in Moab, Utah. Ed was cast as a cavalry soldier acting as General Crook\u2019s aide (General Crook was played by Gene Hackman).<\/p>\n

1992. “Gettysburg”- a TNT Production on location in Gettysburg, Pennslyvania. Ed was cast as a Civil War cavalry sergeant in General Buford\u2019s cavalry company. General Buford was played by Sam Elliot.<\/p>\n

1990. “Class of \u201861”- an ABC TV movie on location in Atlanta, Georgia. Ed was cast as a Civil War cavalry sergeant and as a mounted artillery soldier.<\/p>\n

1988. Ed participated in a television commercial for Cavalry Banking Corp. on location in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, cast as a mounted Civil War cavalry corporal.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
